What Organization Management Does

AdtoSign supports multi-workspace organizations. A root organization can create sub-workspaces for different teams, departments, or subsidiaries — each with its own signatures, banners, and settings, but managed under one umbrella.

Key Capabilities

  • Multi-workspace: Create sub-workspaces under a root organization
  • Team management: Invite users, assign roles, manage permissions
  • Role-based access: Admin and Member roles with granular permissions
  • Workspace switching: Users belonging to multiple workspaces can switch between them
  • Gateway management: Root admins can manage Signature Stamping gateway type per workspace
  • Plan inheritance: Sub-workspaces inherit plan features from the root

Getting Started

Creating a Sub-workspace

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar
  2. Navigate to Workspace settings
  3. Click Create Sub-workspace (root admin only)
  4. Enter the workspace name and details
  5. The new workspace appears in the workspace switcher

Inviting Team Members

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter the email address
  4. Select the role (Admin or Member)
  5. Send the invite
  6. The invitee receives an email invitation

Managing Roles

RoleWhat They Can Do
AdminManage all settings, team, signatures, banners, deployment, directory
MemberView signatures, use add-in, request reviews, view employee portal

Switching Workspaces

If you belong to multiple workspaces:

  1. Click the workspace name in the sidebar
  2. Select the workspace you want to switch to
  3. The UI updates to show the selected workspace's data

Troubleshooting

Can't See a Workspace

  • Check with your admin that you're a member of the workspace
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Check if the workspace is active

Invite Not Received

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Verify the email address is correct
  • Check if free email domains are restricted (business email may be required)

Can't Manage Settings

  • Verify you have Admin role
  • Contact your root admin for sub-workspace-level changes

Best Practices

  1. Use sub-workspaces for teams: Create separate workspaces for different departments
  2. Limit admin access: Only grant Admin to users who need to manage settings
  3. Use groups for signatures: Assign signatures by group, not individual user
  4. Root admin manages gateway: Only root admin can change Signature Stamping gateway type per workspace
